DEI guidance from Pigeonhole Live

Ever been in an efficient and informative Q&A session at a conference? If yes, it might have been due to the Pigeonhole Live app that allows crowdsourcing of questions in real-time. A great way to improve the “give-and-take” between speaker and audience and to get away from long lines at the one microphone.

But the Pigeonhole Live people can’t be pigeonholed to just one tool…

They recently released a hard-hitting whitepaper, arguing that some Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) efforts fail because of a sole focus on diversity and a related tendency to over-emphasize difference.

They recommend also making robust inclusion efforts to find common ground and bring people together, and to prevent under-represented groups feeling even more out of place.

Food for thought, along with useful definitions, crisp graphics, and a list of concrete steps create a culture of inclusivity in your organization.
